Verkefnastýra hjá Rannís og inngildingarfulltrúi Landskrifstofu Erasmus+ á Íslandi

Miriam er verkefnastýra Upplýsingastofu um nám erlendis og Eurodesk hjá Rannís. Hún er jafnréttisfulltrúi stofnunarinnar og gegnir jafnframt hlutverki inngildingarfulltrúa Landskrifstofu Erasmus+ á Íslandi, sem er hýst af Rannís. Eitt af aðalmarkmiðum Erasmus+ er að stuðla að jöfnum tækifærum í samfélaginu og hefur Landskrifstofan af þeim sökum sett á fót vinnuhóp, sem Miriam fer fyrir, til þess að þróa sérstaka inngildingarstefnu. Inngildingarstefnan leitast við að ýta undir inngildandi hugarfar bæði meðal starfsfólks Landskrifstofunnar og í samfélaginu öllu.

National Coordinator at Rannís and Inclusion and diversity officer at the National Agency of Erasmus+ in Iceland

Miriam is the national coordinator for the Study Abroad Information Center and Eurodesk Iceland at Rannís (The Icelandic Centre for Research). Miriam is also the gender equality representative of the organisation as well as the inclusion and diversity officer of the National Agency of Erasmus+ in Iceland, which is hosted at Rannís. One of the main focus of Erasmus+ is inclusion and equal opportunities. Because of this the National Agency has dedicated a working group, led by Miriam, to develop a strategy for inclusion. The goal of the inclusion strategy is to influence an inclusive mindset in staff of the National Agency, stakeholders and in society as a whole.
